Stone Veneers

Are you considering a stone veneer to add a visual appeal to your space? This versatile building material is often used for decorative interior and exterior design applications. Our bespoke stone veneers come in a variety of depths, colors and textures that can’t be replicated. Let’s explore the advantages of using stone veneers.

In the stone industry, veneers refer to a chopped stone of the highest quality. There are two primary types, Thin and Full. The main differences between the two lie in the weight.

Thin Stone Veneers

Thin Stone Veneers are not meant to be “load bearing” or intended for structural applications. They are cut to a minimum thickness of 1 ¼” with an average length of between 8″ to 16″. That alone makes it ideal for vertical application outside and indoors. A lighter veneer will save you labor costs and time with a more straightforward installation process. The standardized Thin Veneer sizes available to order are 4″, 6″, 8″ to 10″ tall.

Full Stone Veneers

Full Stone Veneer generally has a thickness between 3″ to 5″ deep. They require a foundation prior to application and architects must meet additional structural requirements before installation.
